Druid PvP - What would you do?

Hello everyone! I'd like a couple peoples opinions on the subject of Druid PvP. Primarily 2v2 and 3v3 for those whom are curious.
My rogue partner on my druid and I have decided that mage rogue will be a stronger comp, and we've started playing mage rogue. Now, that leaves Disrupta without any arena teams. My 2v2 partners with my mage, my 3v3 partner's quit or left the team, and my 5's team all have their noise in the air about how "bad" the system is and don't feel like playing.
Since moonkin is terrible in 2v2, if I wanted to do moonkin I'd have to find a healer and a peeler for 3's...
Resto Druid's can pair up with Hunter, Rogues, Ret Pallies, Dk's or even a Warlock.
Feral's would want a Healer, Holy Paladin , Resto Shaman or Disc Priest.
And Moonkin if properly pressured is a shitty healer the entire match and does very little more than that.
Looking at the charts and such, It shows that Feral is far ahead all the other specs in 2v2. But Feral needs pve gear to pull off well... and I can't get said pve gear without being a pve kitty dps and that's not an option.
So I'm in a dillema, my initial guess at the beginning of WOTLK was that feral was the spec to be in arena, and I was right, but my other guess was that I'd need pve gear, which is also right... I could do decently as feral with a good healer with just pvp gear but the primary thing about feral is it do enough burst/pressure.
They're also nerfing resto druids, by nerfing their out of combat regen - and - their innervate mana returns. As resto I'd have a very hard time drinking due to a risk of them switching to my partner and gibbing him even with hots up. And they're giving ferals more survivability so more pve gear is usable, a shield in bear form omnomnom.
So that's my situation, if you were in my shoes and wanted to hit max ratings, what would you do. And if you say reroll a paladin, you'd probably be right, but that's not what I want to do ;p.

DRM is a comp iv seen but I

Here are a few things I have
Nuitarin — Tue, 02/10/2009 - 11:47Here are a few things I have learned after a couple months playing 2v2 with my DK partner. When the opposing team sees its feral/Dk, they go for me 9/10 times. I'm usually forced to go into bear to survive. In my opinion, doing 2v2 with a DK and using pve gear would be suicide. If you choose a partner that can stun or CC a target like rogue/ret then you would have a better chance with pve gear most likely. Or if you were able to run healer/feral I would definatly use less pvp gear, but I have not expermented with either.
Comps that we have particular trouble with are ones with a druid healer as they seem to be able to CC my DK long enough to kill me or mage teams. Hunters paried with resto druids seem to be really tough due to the number of ranged and melee snares and cc agianst animals that both of them have. We usually do pretty good agianst other melee double dps teams and teams that use fear due to lichborne/berserk.
My usually strategy when doing arena in feral is burst dps and controlling the other team with stuns/charges. I have rarely found success if I try to shift out and heal myself or my partner. Perhaps someone more skilled would be able to pull that off, but I have found that shifting out into caster form usually shortens the time that I am able to live.
I have no experience with being on a high rating team, but maybe what I wrote will help you choose a 2s partner if you descide to go that way. If the only thing holding you back from doing 2s as feral is no pve gear, that wouldnt hold me back.
Yeah if I ran double dps as
Disrupter — Wed, 02/11/2009 - 10:00Yeah if I ran double dps as feral/dk I'd certainly want PvP gear, I'd be the focus target. But that's not the strongest comp in the world of a feral, feral's are strongest in 2's with a healer, and with a healer they can use PvE gear. I'm leaning towards 4 piece bonus Dragonhide in either situation but in 3's it's a necessity to have Valorous from what I've read.
Spagett and I can try you out
