I'm a computer engineer studying in college currently, its summer at the moment so working at a newspaper factor (/wrist) but other than that I've been a computer enthusiast for several years, been building computers as a hobbie for quite some time. You are using Envenom entirely too much. You can argue for it during Heart Phases when there's not enough time for Deadly to tick, but you only used it 3 out of 9 times on the Heart itself
Looks like you're popping CDs early and often. Good in one sense. But does not exploit the vulnerablity phase of the Heart. If you save your CDs til then, you can prob hit 8K.
Prepare speed pots, more dps!

Here's what I do to exploit dps on this fight
BF+AR the cats at the beginning. Well the first 2, tricks the tank too, gives them threat on both, burn 2 down aoe style
Save Killing Spree for the fears. With the glyph, you should be able to KS every 2nd Fear.
Vanish the 2nd fear. If you don't know, Vanish can be used to "cheat death" of sorts. Using it at the last second of cast, allows you to escape fear and damage effects.
So KS should be back by 3rd fear, 4th fear you're on your own.
Fan of Knives more to exploit the aoe aspect. You'll see her cast "Guardian Swarm", start queuing energy, a couple seconds later, red names tags should start to appear so spam FoK,

Looks like you were generally saving the CDs til Thorim arrive. No real need for that, the fight lasts well long enough for the CDs to come up again during Thorim. Use em in Arena, squeezes out more dps if you use CDs.

Summary: Stop using Envenom, it's not really for use for combats, only use is maybe the very last attack on a boss about to die. FoK is overpowered, exploit it as much as you can. Basic rule of thumb is, 3 or more mobs, FOK them in the mouth! And just a few CD usage adjustments here and there to further exploit combat capabilities.

As far as hit, I do need hit currently (with the new set of items I've recently acquired) I'm not poison capped. (315)

Chest does need +10 stats.

Haven't had the opportunaty to get the valor bracers yet, havn't hardly been able to get into much for 25 Naxx's.

Gloves do need 44 ap.

I would buy a storm jewl if I could afford it. I have to pay for all my stuff out of pocket my guild helps with nothing, spend about 3000g last night buying my current OH and a berserker for my MH.

And no I don't have 8000g for a kirin tor ring lmao!

Yes I'd also have a berserking on the OH if I could afford it.

(And yes I am doing and have been doing everything in my power to make money but its not so easy without any real solid means of getting gold IE gathering professions and things of that nature.)

I use envenom when I have <12s on SnD / <12s on Rupture. I throw in an envenom everywhere I can while still never letting a rupture or SnD fall.

As far as saving CD's for the heart on XT, your entirely correct I don't have much for an excuse other than I was just not thinking lmao.

Again money problems stop me from having things like speed pots, I know its a lame excuse with how easy money is to make these days but it just seams like every time I get some gathered up I have to blow it all on some stupid shit.

In the case of Kologarn, I stop using envenom in favor of eviscerate in the case where we switch from Kologarn back to his left arm I leave my DP up to tick away. I would have envenoms on the arm, however I just didn't have the opportunaty to throw any out due to keeping Snd / Rup up.

The flash freez on Hodir, as lame of an excuse as it is, was due to a killing spree. I used it at precisly the same time he starting the flash freez, I didnt have time to get from his back to a mound before he finished casting.

The second time, I failboated it 8D was too close to the rune got knocked back couldn't make it to the mound.

The garrrot, on my way to my iceblock targets, I dropped a drive by garrot > ss > ss > snd for a quick snd and for a quick jump on threat for the tank.

Yea I'll be less reservative on the cooldowns for Thorim.

Wasn't specifically saving CD's for anything on Freya, but I suppose the reason for low count of them is that in general (while this may not be the best thought process for all situations I realize that) I use cool downs in very specific situations, for example I make sure I have a fresh rupture and at least 3 CP waiting for after killing spree is up so I can get a clean SnD and continue ruptures without letting rupture fall or losing any up time on SnD. Obviously there are times where its best to just blow your CD's because your not always going to have the opportunaty to make sure your in an optimal situation. I'll make sure I'm more aware of this in the future.

Again more FoK spam I understand XD.

And for the shiv on trash, was to finish a DP stack with 5 CP for an envenom before it died.

As a combat rogue, you do not need to be poison hit capped. Hit becomes more of a secondary stat after you're above the specials cap.

Well think of it as a checklist. Do what you can. Really really really try to get Greatness though, that's just huge boost there.

When I say don't use Envenom, I mean use Eviscerate instead. You're wiping off your deadly poison stack each time which lowers dps for combat. With the 3.1 buffs to Deadly, you want to keep it up fully stacked. The only way for Envenom to beat Evis/Deadly dps is if you're using Instant Poison too to get more procs out of the Envenom buff. But as combat, you don't have the Imp Poison talent to increase base PPM of IP to make it superior to WP. Plus, Mutilates would have more talents to allow bigger Envenoms and faster deadly restacks than combat.

Yea Speed Pots would be like flasks, cost of raiding.

For Hodir, well the tank should be all by himself at first building a threat lead. You can always tricks him when the ice blocks are dead. I typically do a BF+KS+Tricks for massive threat transfers. I assume you have Tricks macros and all.

As for shiv, well the biggest modifier for its damage is Combo Points, not DP stacks. So you're better off using Envenom w/o Shiv regardless of stack size. But, use Evis unless it is the last thing you're gonna do in the fight.

And the shivs were for CP and DP stacks > envenom. Not just DP stacks.

And yes I should have been more prepaired with haste pots, I haven't raided seriously in a really long time I suppose it just sort of slipped my mind.

Yes and the point is shiv'ing to get a DP stack (and CP) to envenom is a waste. Shiv costs energy, does shit damage, so it's not an efficient use. Better to use save that energy for other stuff. It has absolutely no use in raids.

That is an extra of 5 extra dailies on one day and that'll usually last you about 2 nights with Salmon. So sorry I can't afford it doesn't fly with me as an excuse not to have dps pots. I used to be a heavy pvper but I always made sure I had enough flasks for the raid week+the best buff food instead of selling myself short with the fish feast +potions to maximize dps on a boss.

Once you hit Champion of your home faction at the Argent Tournament you can really double dip money for awhile with those dailies as you champion another faction and do the champion dailies.

And as far as having to buy your own enchanting mats etc outta your pocket. Most of our guildies tend to buy their enchants and everything outta their own pockets. Although the guild bank does have some, from what I've seen they lie largely unused even by the raiding masses.
