I love mods! I don't want to say the more the merrier because your screen can get messy, but I love them. I don't think I'd raid without Deadly Boss Mods or Omen.

PvE

Raid Experience:

I haven't been playing terribly long and I hit 70 the day before Wrath came out, so unlike many others, I do not have much experience in the classic and BC raids. I recently ran Molten Core with a few guildies and pugged a Mount Hyjal run. As far as Wrath content, I have completed Naxxramas 10 and 25 man, Obsidian Sanctum 10 and 25 man, and Eye of Eternity 10 man. I have run 10 man Ulduar with a group in my guild and we have downed Flame Leviathan, Razorscale, XT, Kologarn, Auriaya, Hodir, and Freya. We have gotten to phase 4 on Mimiron, but not downed him. In 25 man Ulduar, we have downed Flame Leviathan, Razorscale, XT, and Kologarn. In all of these raids, my role was to output damage and use any special abilities to make the raid more successful.

Tips for Auriaya should you live long enough next time...

Killing Spree can prevent fears
Vanish can prevent fears
AoE is king. FoK up every time you see her summoning the little cats
Don't die.

For Hodir

I guess look for White Lights. Even if you have to stand in front of Hodir and get parry gibbed. The buff is very very signficant.

I really think Auriaya was a fluke. I died from Sonic Screech, but I was directly in front of her, so if I understand her fight right, I should not have died from that. Maybe I was too close to her? Not sure. Thanks for the tips though and I will definitely implement your suggestions next time I'm there.

I didn't realize it was ok to stand in the white lights if they weren't to the side or behind him. Good to know.

Well you got hit by Feral Defender before that, so that's random. The Screech was a 10K hit. The more it hits the more damage is spread out, so maybe more of a raid / tank pointing fail. Raid might need to pile up more.

Aaah yeah that's right! I forgot about the kitty hitting me too. And on Hodir, I just barely missed getting on the snow pile and got frozen...I was frozen till I died. I think a lot of us got frozen on that one (if I'm remembering correctly) so there were just too many to try to break out of ice for them. :( Next time I'll do better :D

I just wanted to let everyone know that I will not be online from Tuesday, the 18th to Monday, the 24th. My buddy from Canada is coming into town to go to Blizzcon with us and his flight comes in on Tuesday evening, so we're taking him out on the town (ala bewbies-style). Then we fly out to Cali early Wednesday morning and will be there for Blizzcon and other fun until Monday evening. I am pretty sure once we get back to Dallas, we'll just want to eat and go to sleep haha. So Tuesday, the 25th I'll be back on to play :-D

I've really enjoyed hanging out with you guys and getting to know some of you. It's been awesome! Thanks for letting me come along and newb up some of your raids too. :-D

I see a cheap shot which is probably a waste. No need to waste time in stealth. Run up, tricks tank, start smacking asap.

Appeared to done 5 Envenoms on Razorscale. Use those less, just Evis and let Deadly tick. Use maybe 1 at most at the end of fights.

We done 3 fights in ulduar FL, Razor, and XT. For xt we had 1 ele shaman for ranged so Paralyzer and Potink would run and FoK the bombs and the extra adds when able to keep them out of the raid. so its really the only one you could effectively base her performance on. :D If she comes with us again, and we have a better class balance, Ill have some more.

I think the cheap shot was an accident. I don't normally use that one, so I may have stealthed to drop aggro and then forgotten I was stealthed, haha. The cheap shot is bound to the same key as SS, so that would explain that one.

The envenoms is totally my bad. I have read a few times not to use it, but I think I used evis once and it hit for less than a normal SS so I blew it off. I do know that I should only use envenom when the target is almost dead though b/c it consumes the DP.

I have taken envenom and moved it out of the way and replaced it with evis, so that shouldn't be an issue again. Thanks for the tips saedo! :D

I think KB swapped to a different parse site, and I'm not sure who parses for Salmon, and the 10 mans you were in weren't ones that parse, so when you raid next, ask if someone is parsing, and if not parse it yourself.

Hey Tink...make sure someone is running parses next time your in raid...if they aren't you can run them yourself. It's pretty easy.

1. Check for existing log file and delete it. (C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\logs\WoWCombatlog.txt) Make sure you are LOGGED OUT of WoW when doing this.

2. Upon entering the instance before pulls type: /combatlog and when done /combatlog again to turn it off. (there's a mod that does this, but since your not likely to need it again, might not want it)

3. Shoot me an email with the txt file and I'll post it as parses for you and the rogue gods to view. ;) (I'll pm you my email address)
