Feral Dps

Hey I' main spec tank since the beginning of BC. Recently since dual specs came out I've been trying out the feral dps. I've done about 4400 4600 in VOA 25. Until now I've been basically been winging the dps and i feel like i have a decent rotation. The way to spec and the way to gem/enchant I'm not to sure about. Currently I have Agility gems and enchants only. Ive seen some feral dps druids stack Armor pen. After asking them they said after a certain point(7200ap, 50%crit) to stack amor pen. Not sure if this is unbuffed or buffed.
I remember hearing in vent sometime that there was either a "godly" or "epic" feral dps in the guild. Thought i would ask for some advice for my offspec XD. Also the last thing i want to do is google Specs. The Last time i was on such a sute i got a nice virus saying it sees virus on my computer and that it wanted my credit card information to get rid of them -_-. I ended up reinstalling window.

Feral gearing and dps tools/addons
Nuitarin — Tue, 09/01/2009 - 09:03The Feral by Night thread deserves a read over on Elitist Jerks. Read the first post and then like the last 5 or 10 pages. If you read the whole thing you might find outdated information. RAWR is also a good tool to use to let you know how to gear/gem/spec/glyph.
The most important thing is practice and I dont mean on a target dummy. DPSing with buffs is different than without.
The druid dps priority list is quite involved as you know. You have 3 combo point generating moves, 3 finishing moves, 2 debuffs you must maintain on the target, 1 buff you must maintain on yourself, a 30 second cooldown that must be used everytime its up and only at low energy, a 3 min cooldown that must be used at high energy and not during heroism, a clearcasting proc that should be used to shred. You need a mod to track rake, rip, mangle, FFF, combo points on your target and something to track savage roar on yourself.
I use classtimer and the FBN in game addon to keep track of that stuff and my trinket procs.

Aurleas — Mon, 08/31/2009 - 15:57Primistic is said "godly feral druid" from what i understand once your gear supports around 300 arp rating (25%) is when it becomes more beneficial to stack currently my druid has 59% arp 7k ap 50% crit unbuffed. I am still working on perfecting my feral dps but i would be more than happy to share what i have learned and bounce some idea's around.

Nuitarin's pretty good feral dps as well, though he's mainly our tank in Kitten Brigade. Both should have some very good input for you.
