Borderlands LFG

Ok, I'm sure some of you have seen my little shouts the past few days about Borderlands. If you have not played this game, I HIGHLY suggest you do.( That is if you are a FPS and RPG fan)
The game is PHENOMENAL. One of the best I have played in a long time. It blends old school and new school FPS(Tons of guns as in 17 million different ones but with the selection strategy of halo and games that no longer let you carry 1 pistol 2 rifles and about 6 odd shaped guns on one person, also the enemies just have that old school serious sam/quake 1/2 feel to them). It also has a diablo/wow style of rpg element to it. 3 base classes with 3 spec trees each. You lvl either by grinding or questing. The enemies kinda lvl with you to an extent.
The best part, the game is up to 4 player co-op, with a drop-in/drop-out style=they can join and leave anytime they want.
I may even start up my Xbox live account for weekend play on live for this game alone.(Yes, its that fun) So if anyone that has Xbox live and this game would like to join my friend and I to play the game let me know you are interested. Felsteel — Fri, 10/23/2009 - 08:22For those who want some more info in the classes here are the trees, max lvl is 50 so you have 46 points to spend, 45 of them are your choice.(The first one is your action skill) These links are talent builder pages, so it works just like the talent builder on WoW Head and so forth. This is how it looks in game as well.

Threerick — Thu, 10/22/2009 - 11:10I have a ps3 and I was actually thinking about getting this game. But i'm still playing Demon's Souls and waiting on Modern Warfare 2. But from trailers that I watched, I think this might actually be a good game. And now with you telling me about the spec trees and classes, i may just have to get it. Never really played a FPS RPG before. The only thing close to a shooter RPG for me was Resident Evil 5 but that wasn't FPS, nor were there levels and talent trees. This is very interesting game.

Felsteel — Thu, 10/22/2009 - 11:42The graphics are amazing as well. Its a type of cell shaded style and the story is not kiddie approved. One of the classes yells "CRITICAL BIOTCH" sometimes after a critical hit (head shot). Even has the numbers fly FCT style when you shoot the baddies so its not just a red life bar you are hacking at. The more people that play the better it is as well, more players=harder stuff to kill=better loot in the game. :D
