I have to admit that I couldn't get the chance to experience WoW Classic and TBC raids and dungeons before the expansions went live on Official Blizzards realms. This is due to the fact that Blizzard didn't take Colombian (the country I'm from and live in) credit cards before the Latinamerican realms went live, so I could only play on private realms with all kinds of bugs and stuff.

I've accomplished all the WOTLK dungeons and raids except for Ulduar and ToGC's yet. This is one on the main reasons I want to transfer and join your guild. The guild I play in now had a big crisis when Secrets of Ulduar patch went live. So we spent like 3 months with no constant raiding. We tried to hold together and I tried to be patient until the guild got back up again. After that, new members got in and things got better but now they don't want to finish Ulduar 10 or 25 man, not even the hard modes because ToC gives them better gear, they say (not the guild leaders, the members).

Also, even wanting ToGC purples, peolpe keep missing programmed raid events, so we can't get the people with the necessary skills to finish them.

In terms of the role, I've mostly gone DPS, using special class skills when needed (even sacrificing DPS for that)

New patch, new gears, everyone was busy trying out new contents.

Something to share.. Mjolnir Runestone and Needle-Encrusted Scorpion might not be that good as what EJ or Rawr have suggested. Reason being I gotten Needle-Encrusted Scorpion during the first day of the patch and decided to remove some of my Arpen gems to reach the softcap for Arpen.

1400 - 678(Needle) = 722 arpen (softcap)

But things did not turn out what I expected..

With this new gemmings, I'm totally out of the top 10 dpsers in KB.. :( After cleared regular TOC(25), I took the time-break to regem all back to Arpen for the heroic TOC(25)

A big big difference.... So to me, I concluded that hardcap arpen IS better than softcap.. I haven't tried gemming all to AGILITY though.. I've already wasted 9 red gems, 4 yellow gems and 1 Dragon's Eye in this testing.

It is incredible how much it changes performance from one strat to another.

I actually was going to the hardcapped Armor pen for one reason: I did in fact tried gemming all with Agility and it didn't work out well. I found out that Armor pen is a steady stat, meaning what you have is what you get (60% Arm pen is 60% armor reduction) whereas Agility gives you a percentage of crit chance. Also, a druid friend of mine managed to have what you had ([47115] with [44253]) and gemmed completly with Agility. He discovered and also read afterwards (I think it was elitistjerks.com) that crit chance has a sort of cap, meaning, even if you have 100% crit chance, you won't get 100% crit hits, specially with white hits.

So, you may or may not increase your DPS with Agility, depending on how lucky you get during an encounter.

Now I have a question I wanted to ask you since you suggested me use 2 Tier8 pieces with 2 Tier9 pieces. I saw that most druids use [46158] with another piece (Most legs and some head). unfortunately, I have not been able to get [46158] (talking about bad luck in drops and chance to loot), so my question is; is it a good alternative to use [46161] with [46160]? or is it possible to use [45355] (the one I do have) with [46160], while I get the conquerors version? The only problem of the first alternative is that my expertise rating is reduced down to 4.00% only, so I may have to use [45829] with gem included.

I appreciate any comments on this.

I did some tests with Needle compared to Runestone. I found that it takes Needle a lot longer to trigger than Runestone. As soon as Runestone is off CD it pretty much procs again. Once Needle was off CD it took 10 seconds +, and a couple times 20 seconds, for it to proc again.

I'm pretty sure this is all due to the way the two trinkets proc. Runestone procs off melee hit, and Needle procs off of melee crit. I don't have any concrete numbers, but maybe some of you guys could test it too.

So the conclusion is clear according to those numbers: [45931] continue being the one to have. unfortunately, I haven't been able to get that one either (xD) So the question for my situation is; should I use [50198] (that I already got) or [40256]? I don't know exactly the numbers of that one but It seems to me that it procs more often then.

What do you suggest me to do?

Grim Toll has the same proc behavior as Runestone. As for Needle vs Grim Toll, it's been debatable. So far, from Rogue EJ'ing, Runestone is clearly ahead. Needle needs more testing to confirm behavior, but likely still slightly better than Grim Toll. But won't be by much, and an RNG mechanic of the fight can swing it either way.

We really really really need you focusing on mods that will improve your performance. Look into our Guild Addon Pack mods as well as others that help you maximize as much as possible. Have you done the latency fix for your computer yet?

Just wanted to let you know I already got transfered to Gorgonnash.

I got the message and It's understandable: You need to see me in action before even considering accepting my app. Even thought it seems I could fit on you guild according to my app, you need to see that I actually could performe well in battle.

So, I'm ready to be tested. I'll log in on raid time to see how I can get the chance to get tested.

hola latino! yo soy de México, ando por estos lados por que de casualidad me quise salir de mi xrealm basura y unirme a un realm y una guild mas provechosa donde pudiera jugar y exprimir mis limites de mi skill. Ya tengo mas de un año y medio casi dos en este realm/guild y te puedo decir que esta muy bien, hay mucho movimiento, mucho spamer, muchos pugs(buenos/malos tienes ke conocer a la gente), muy buena gente tambien asi como muy buenos guild horde/alliance.

La verdad me imagino que eres muy buen jugador, por que en sudamerica hay mucho vicio XD. Yo juege en un server chileno cuando empezo el wow, y de alli nos cerraron la puerta a los de fuera de pais y me tube ke unir a un de españa, desde alli empese el vicio asta estos dias.

Espero ya tener con quien hablar español, por que el ingles me hace hablar como estupido haha todavia no le pierdo el miedo.

por cierto, tenemos muchas maneras de mejorar tu lag, desde el registro, si quieres ayuda por alli anda el post de de como mejorar la latencia, ya saves (TcpAckFrequency, TCPNoDelay y unos movimientos en la configuracion de lan), pues saludos espero verte por aki, aqui si vas a jugar pero enserio, esta gente son pro y muy buenos <3<3 que ke me tachan por emo ..... soy shaman que puedo decirles es mi maldicion! hahaha

Pues que bueno que acá también voy a poder hablar español de vez en cuando! Ahora juego en un reino latinoamericano y pues es sólo español. Pero si me transfería, temía que sólo fuera inglés todo el tiempo. Siempre es bueno saber que hay hermanos latinoamericanos acá también ;)

Según lo que he visto de la hermandad y los logros que han alcanzado, es impresionante! Estoy seguro que son muy pro!
