My job title, as you can see from the attached picture, is Human Resources Coordinator. However, considering that I work at a small-ish non profit and have half a brain about computer and technology related things, I also get to do IT work about 50% of my time. I don't mind it so much; I think learning about basic networking stuff and being generally perceived as the most knowledgeable person at my agency for computer-geek stuff is pretty cool. But, it also means that If I am the smartest they got...well, it just goes downhill from there. Case in point:

This is quite an offer that I saw on TV awhile ago. While at Blizzcon (across the street from Disneyland) I was reminded of it. Basically, if you register now, you can get into Disneyland for free on your birthday. This is mainly for So Cal people, though it is not limited by state. So if you plan to be in Southern California on your birthday, or even think there is a chance just register anyways. I believe registration does end sooner or later, so do it now! Season pass holder? Still register, you can choose from a list of gifts that are really nice.

This weekend is Thanksgiving, at least it is here in Canada.  I'll be away Saturday and Sunday eating turkey and other delectibles with hubby's family and arguing politics (our national vote is Tuesday after Thanksgiving this year...go vote) and hearing all the family gossip I've missed in the last few months.  Since its that time to think of blessings received I include; meeting new people in this guild, playing a game I love, and hearing Shihli tell a joke that was funny.  Also there are many real life things I include that would bore you all to tears so I'll keep them to myself and wish you and your families the joy and love of the season and lots of turkey and pumpkin pie.
