Zul'Aman Bear Mount guide, by Shihli
Shihli — Fri, 06/20/2008 - 09:45
To preface: If you are reading and plan on implementing this guide, then I assume that you already know the general lay of the land of ZA. What each boss does, what trash pulls look like, how loot works, the whole shebang.
PART 1 – Group composition
The key to a solid mount run is a well-balanced and synergistic group. That is to say, it is a huge benefit to have classes that complement each other (e.g. Warlock and Shadowpriest, Enhancement Shaman and Fury Warrior). When doing your first mount runs, you will want a few things:
1. T5+ quality gear, with flasks and consumables. If you are still decked in full Karazhan and limited/early badge gear, you will not have the health, mana, dps, or damage mitigation to make this a successful mount run. If you are in predominantly T5 and badge gear, you will have better chances but it is still difficult. Wearing 50/50 T5/T6 or better is highly recommended. Regardless of gear, full consumables are highly recommended (and in my Lava Crab runs, required) – flasks (or elixirs if that’s better for you), food, scrolls, weapon oils, the whole nine.
Shihli to be sparse for about a week
Shihli — Sun, 06/15/2008 - 21:20
So yeah, as the title says I'll be a little sparse in the next week or so. I've been really sick lately, and I think it's due to stress compiling from work and from leading and co-leading a variety of raids in WoW. I love using WoW to relax, but as of late it's been a *bit* more difficult to unwind after work by hopping right onto WoW.
I may miss Hamfist raids this week, and I may or may not miss the Lava Crab ZA mount run on Thursday. Jury's out on that one still.
This isn't me saying "I'm leaving!" This is me saying I'm taking a brief vacation, that's all. Also, it's Mavandon's fault.
Much love, see you guys more regularly next week-ish!

This is just a terrible test and if it works it'll be my own little wish list/theorycraft stuff for me to keep track of, thats what these blogs are for right? XD
On a more serious note

Hey guys,
I just wanted to create a blog talking about life and mainly to apologize for my absences during raids. This summer I got 2 jobs and work 7 days a week. I need to make money so I can afford my next two years of college... which is very expensive. I was able to get tues Wed Thurs nights off just so I could raid but sometimes they make me work overtime. I am doing my best but I know that I have dissapointed many of my fellow raid members lately and I wanted to update you on why I have been so late and absent from raids. So im not making this to gives exscuses, mainly I am writing this to let you all know that I have the utmost amount of respect for LF1M and Downfall and I am doing my absolute best to be as active as possible. It makes me sad knowing that i let you down somtimes and i want nothing more than to finish first on the healing meters once in raid and make you guys proud!

I Wrote This a few weeks ago in English class for some extra credit. It was done in about 30 min lolz
Coming Soon From Author Garreth Shilih. Downfall.
An excerpt from the books is below.
In a time when the world was young, there were many races that lived throughout the world. There were the Elves, a mystic and very ancient race. They lived secluded in their land known as Sheeyn on the western continent of the world. They stayed secluded from the wars and politics of the other major races, such as the young and noble humans. The humans were the youngest of the races of the world. They had come about only about in the last 500 years. The elves and humans however both feared the great evil that the strongest of their magi foretold. The Eradar.
