There will be new badges for the level 80 ten man instances, and new badges for the level 80 25man instances. These badges are NOT badges of justice, and the items you could get with badges of justice would be replaced fairly soon anyway. Not worth the hassle of powering through Kara for a few weeks, when you could just do some questing in a day or so, and get arguably better gear.

Kinda glad they did it though. Do you have any idea how hard it was to get a Strath group, then a Dire Maul, then a Scholomance? (Luckily I got carried on that last two.)
People aren't using the old-world instances any more and its going to quickly be that way for the BC content.
UNLESS...... If they keep the badge system in effect people are still going to be running KZ, ZA, Mag, Gruul, and probably SSC. I was thinking about it this morning, and imagine 5 level 75's helping you blast through each of these in around 2 hours each week starting at level 68. You'll be T5 geared by level 72 and thus not have to worry about keeping up your equipment since you won't have to worry about random drops.
