Easy peasy plans I figure:
1) ICC 10man
2) ToGC for Insanity runs, for mounts and cloaks
3) Ulduar10 for Algalon *ONLY* until there are no clear upgrades left from him (which shouldn't take long to replace with ICC here)
4) VoA once Toravon is available
5) Onyxia only by request.
Thoughts?
Dedicated Insanity

-I would still like a shot at a dark matter to replace my bandit's insignia. As far as i know, me and shihli are the only 2 after it. I would also not be against "selling" mjolnir's. I know a few people out there who would pay good coin for one.
-Once we venture into ICC, and we all have mounts, lets kill TOGC. I get the feeling that some of us are divided when it comes to dedicated insanity as well. Personally, i would rather not sacrifice the loot and rewards that we really want by giving an RNG advantage to an achievement that already is a bit too reliant on RNG. The title sucks too.
-Lastly, I would prefer not to overload our raid plate. I find it very impressive that we clear 4 and a half raid instances in a night, but i dont think we should feel like we need to go back for 1 upgrade for 1 person. Dark matter seems to be the only thing left out of ulduar that a couple of us need. If shihli won it next week, i would give 2 shits about 10 people spending an hour clearing for 1 upgrade for me. I would like to see another just for the principle of the matter (see what i diid there). My point is that if we cleared ONLY TOGC each lockout as it stands now, im not sure how many people would care about skipping voa, ony, toc and ulduar (well, onyxian drakes would be kinda nice).

Elapsed — Fri, 12/04/2009 - 09:07I'm all about Deticated, my gear for it has improved and after lasts nights performance I'm wanting to see how we do. Here's my two cents on it. We go do our ICC stuff and all that, then head over enter into TOGC (remember we dont have to clear normal to get into heroic) and we try, The moment we wipe (assuming we do) we leave for Alg or whatever.

We need to stop being afraid of it. We absolutely stomped Tribute to Insanity tonite, without heroism, without totems, without chain heal. So long as people have a good set to work with, Dedicated Insanity should not be a problem to achieve. I'd be willing to put it on the backburner until 3.3 comes along (so that we're no longer "losing the best gear" by missing the cloaks as we can and will find upgrades) but that means that everyone's got to hang on to Dedicated gear longer.
Personally, I like the concept of having *every* 10man raid achievement completed. Yes, it's fluff and fru-fru crap, but so what? So is this entire game ultimately. Keep in mind that since the last time we tried Dedicated Insanity we've further refined our strats for each fight to the point that we just go in there and pretty much stomp every encounter anyway.
As far as "overloading our raid plate" is concerned, right now we're in a good spot. We get nearly everything that we "want" from our instances, gear-wise, in one night. I don't think that will change in Icecrown, since we will be able to essentially write out Ulduar completely, and likely write out ToC10 (normal mode) as well. This would leave VoA (easy and fast), Onyxia (easy and fast), ICC (our focus), and ToGC (fru-fru for Dedicated, abandonable thereafter).

Shihli — Thu, 12/03/2009 - 18:37Right now the only reason we persist in doing Ulduar is largely because there's still legitimate upgrades for people from there. Once we obtain better upgrades, there will be no real incentive to go back to Ulduar, so we won't be.
Until I get double DV's (lol, never gonna happen) Dark Matter is still a significant upgrade for me. As is Mjolnir for some people as well.

I figure 10 weekly raid, 1 per boss in ICC (4 each instance), 2 per day random Heroic, that's 32 the first week. 2nd will have 6 (3 bosses) more if they release the next wing that soon.
