I gotta go and deal with more estate stuff from my dad's will.  He had alot of crap.  Going to take awhile to do it.  I'll be back for May 1st or 2nd not sure yet.

I used WoWMatrix because they released an addon updater that ran native in Linux.  With the death of WoWMatrix (which I do agree with to a point), I've decided to give Curse a shot.  So far, it works beautifully in the latest version of Wine (1.1.19 for me).

Things to consider:

• When installing the Curse client, uncheck "Autostart" and "Install Curse Profiler"
• Many of your addons will be flagged as "Unidentified" if you used WoWmatrix.  Simply go to the Unidentified tab and reinstall these, or go the "Find" tab, search for the addon and reinstall that way.
• If you installed WoW to its default folder (~/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/World of Warcraft) then Curse should be able to discover your WoW directory right away.

So Microsoft has decided that my version of Windows is hacked and I cannot use anything except OpenSource software currently (including Vent, Wow, Java, etc)

Happy because I've been wanting to convert to unbuntu for months, but I didn't want to take the effort to teach myself, my wife, and my children how to use unbuntu.

I'm pissed because I've never paid for a copy of Windows for my entire life.  Until THIS copy, which I paid full price for three years ago at $130.00 because Fry's was out of their OEM copies.

But for some reason, it's hacked and Windows won't let anything run except the OpenSource software (I know, right?)

So I have a cd burner and I'm burning everything I have, and I'll be installing Unbuntu asap. (probably tonight / tommorow night depending on how long it takes to burn everything)

Advice for a new user is always appreciated.   :-)

This will fix the annoying Grid aggro error that is being thrown in 3.1.  This a stop gap until Grid is released out to the major addon sites like WoWInterface and Curse.

1. Download the attached zip file.  
2. Extract/overwrite this Grid folder to the folder:  <World of Warcraft Directory>/Interface/Addons

Should be good to go for awhile until they update everything.
